Telegram multiple accounts on Android and iPhone
Short answer: on Android, open the side menu, tap the arrow next to your name and choose Add Account. On iPhone, go to Settings, tap Add Account (or long-press the Settings tab). You can have 3 accounts per app, 4 with Telegram Premium, and each needs its own phone number. Beyond that, Android users can add the official Telegram X app or use their phone's app-clone feature.

Sources: Telegram Premium announcement, Premium FAQ (October 2026). Telegram's FAQ says prices vary by region and store, local pricing depends on your number's country and payment method, and a single Apple ID or Google account can hold only one ongoing subscription. At launch in June 2022, Premium was widely reported at $4.99/month in the US. TGDesk mobile details are a roadmap, not a shipped product.

The limit
Telegram's apps allow 3 accounts; Premium raises it to 4 on phones (Premium is billed per account). Details in Telegram multiple accounts limit.
Going beyond 3 on a phone
- Telegram X (Android): an official alternative Telegram app on Google Play with its own account list.
- App cloning: many Android phones have "dual apps" or a work profile that runs a second copy of an app; availability depends on the manufacturer.
- Third-party clients: Nicegram advertises unlimited accounts on iOS and Android (nicegram.app).
Notifications and battery
- Set per-account notification sounds so you know which account pinged.
- Mute busy groups on work accounts; only customers' private chats should ring.
- Each extra app copy costs battery and storage; clear cache in Settings → Data and Storage.
When a phone is not enough
Phones are great for two or three accounts. For a business answering customers on several accounts all day, a desktop workspace is faster: one inbox, keyboard, search across accounts. TGDesk is a desktop app (coming soon) with a unified inbox, translation, OCR and voice-to-text; a TGDesk mobile app is planned so you can follow up on the go. Neither is downloadable yet, and TGDesk is not affiliated with Telegram.
